Footballer Daniel Sturridge, who plays for Liverpool and England, has joined Sainsbury's for a new longterm partnership which will see him fronting a series of programmes aimed to inspire children to eat healthily and play more sports.

Joining Paralympic gold medallists Ellie Simmonds and Jonnie Peacock, Sturridge will star in Sainsbury's Active Kids 2015 campaign and support Sport Relief, the Sainsbury's School Games and Sainsbury's Summer Series with British Athletics. He commented 'I'm proud to be partnering with Sainsbury's to give children all over the country the opportunity to lead healthier lifestyles'.
